Ashanti Shequoiya, also known as Ashanti was born on 13 October the 13th of October, 1980 at Glen Cove New York United States. Ashanti is an United States singer, songwriter, and actress. Ashanti, a teenage singer-songwriter and actress American, has been signed to Murder Inc. Records to release a single in 2002. That same year she appeared as a guest on The Fat Joe's What's Luv? Both Fat Joe's What's Luv? First ever female to be atop the Billboard Hot 100's top two positions across the United States, with Foolish first and What's Luv? The song is called What's Luv! Ashanti first appeared on the track of Big Pun's We Roll as a backing singer. She also appeared on Fat Joe's What's Luv? Ja Rule's "Always on Time" and Fat Joe's What's Luv! Her debut single Foolish includes a snippet of DeBarge's 1983 song Stay with Me. The debut album of Ashanti was released by Irv Gotti's Murder Inc. on the label in 2002. The Declaration is her fourth studio-album, came out in June 2008. Hey Baby, After the Club (released both on radio as well as digital format) dropped on the 16th of October, 2008. She was Latasha in Army Wives and starred in the movie Christmas in the City. Aitch was one of the British rapper sampled her song Rock wit U for Baby on March 10, 2022.
